Performance Practice
CGSV's Performance Practice sessions provide the opportunity for
players of all levels to perform under "exam" conditions. This is great
practice for exams and recitals, and helps to overcome anxiety leading
up to performances that "matter". You will have 30 minutes to perform 2
pieces and/or technical work that you nominate. You will receive verbal
feedback at the time and a written report designed to assist dialogue
with your teacher or mentor. You do not have to be enrolled for exams
to benefit from a CGSV performance practice session, but you do have to
be a CGSV financial member.
Sessions:
- 1pm to 5pm Sunday 14th April, St Stephen's Anglican Church,
Richmond. Tutor: Ben Dix.
- 1pm to 5pm Sunday 9th June, St Stephen's Anglican Church,
Richmond. Tutor: Ben Dix.
More practice events will be scheduled throughout the year.
Fee per half hour session: $40.
